I remember figuring the cost of home-made baked items waay back in 4-H! I usually refer to the reference part of my JOy of Cooking book. It tells cups/ pound, etc for all sorts of stuff. looking forward to your bread recipe.

Crazy Spain–the larger the package, the more per gram the thing costs! In the USA, usually you can count on the larger packaging being the better buy. So–I’ve had to learn some metric math. Sometimes metric is confusing, too, ’cause everything is in Spanish on top of all.
